Hello, Arrowhead school!

Arrowhead is a great place were time just flies by, some of the big events that have came and gone are Moonlight, Bridger, Coco Cola (5^th grades went), Silver Gate (6^th grade went), Yellowstone Watershed with Ms. Shoutis the middle school ecology teacher. Some middle schoolers’ went to the ranger station in Livingston they were taped. We also went a few other places. At Moonlight, it was tense someone almost broke his back. However, he was ok.

Sadie Mann for a stunning job in basketball and working hard in school to keep playing basketball.

Zach Petrich for really being focused in class and having good participation.

One of the teachers helped us decide she said the whole class passed the constitution test with 60% or higher       

A class has never ever passed it as a whole. Heidi Rudolph, Lisa Gillies, Jessey black, Sarah Frazer, Christine Silvestrone, and

the only boy Kris Allen(“if anyone is wondering he’s hot!!!!” Kris says)

National Guard flew in by a helicopter to inform us on the cause and effect of Meth.

 They came at 12:10 when the middle school was in lunch and elementary were at recess,

 Then we went to the baseball field and watched it land. When someone takes Meth,

 They feel like cockroaches are under their skin that is why people who take Meth has scars and scabs.

  The elementary did a Dr.Suess day for his birthday they read a book the kids loved it

After that, they made obleck for the book the way you make obleck is you mix cornstarch,

Water and green food coloring. Then first and third doubled up to do fun work sheets, also

On 100^th day they counted by 2`s, 5`s, and 10`s to one hundred. Then the kids brought a hundred

Pieces of food, then divided it into cups for each one. The kindergartners had a turkey feast

This was the sixth annual feast. It always was in the classroom but we had to move it to Emigrant

Hall because there were 16 kids with one or two parents. They read thanksgiving poems and before

They ate they said the Native American grace which is an old prayer.

The Iditarod is over the winner was lance Mackey on 2/13/07 his dad Dick Mackey won.

He was diagnosed with cancer after the 2001 race and underwent extensive surgery as well as radiation treatment.

His father was one of the founders of the Iditarod Sled Dog Race which was officially organized in 1973.

 He then won the race in 1978.he has three brothers and a sister, all of whom are involved in dog racing his oldest brother, Rick Mackey, was the winner of the 198 Iditarod
